The author has made a clear, easy to read, thoughtful book that can help any and every mom (and dad) out there. This book is parent to parent so it's relatable and honest. You are not reading what a "professional" thinks parenting should be like but rather from a real parent running a real life. Highly suggested.
This book is fantastic if you want to learn how to eat and think healthy. It's an excellent resource for adults and kids alike. I now understand how to live a healthier lifestyle and eat well without sacrificing on taste! The book has a ton of tips that were easy to understand and follow. I was able to relate to the author's stories about her family and how important it is to have guidelines for healthy living. The recipes were so simple to make, delicious and kid friendly! The Busy Mom's Cheat Sheet definitely exceeded my high expectations and is a must for every busy mom's kitchen.
From one super busy mom to the next, this book helped me so much. It first taught me in such an easy to understand way how to teach my kids how to eat healthy. We all know how to read food labels, and know foods to avoid even if package says things like natural or healthy. I loved the mind & spirit chapters and understand now more than ever how mindset can really affect physical health. The recipes are great and those smoothies have been lifesavers on rushed mornings when my kids don't have time to sit down for a proper breakfast. I'll be def giving this book as gifts for my kids teachers and mom friends during holidays.
This book is filled with so much great information about how to raise children who love vegetables and charity work and who are actually just good human beings. All of the information is not only applicable to your kids but to yourself as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to have a healthy happy family.
I have been waiting for a book like this since my daughter was just learning to eat solids (she is now 6). I have so many adult friends that have Celiac and Crohn's and the more I thought about it the more I realized that their eating habits were established at a young age. I wanted my daughter to get used to eating foods that were great for her gut and for her nourishment. I initially bought this book for recipes but seriously got so much more. I have bought many books that I thought would address my concern but this is the first one that really nails it. Lilly Cadoch is creative in her suggestions and truly inspired me to transition healthier tips she suggests in my entire household and my life. I love that this is the book that is guiding me to help teach my daughter the correct information to live a heathy life. Seriously the greatest gift any mom can give their kids.
!I highly recommend this book for any caregiver looking to improve their health and the health of their family. It really opened my eyes, educating me on foods I thought were healthy that really are not and by sharing this with my sons, I feel great knowing I’m empowering them to take control of their own health and well-being. This book also has a great mind/spirit section I wasn’t expecting. My kids are practicing the breathing exercises to calm themselves down before a test and I’m finding myself using them at work too. I’m not much of a cook, but these recipes look pretty easy and quick, which I guess is the point for our busy lifestyles. A fast easy read, I know I’ll be referring to this book often. Thank you!
